The INFINICUT® FL34 has been hailed as a ‘world class machine’ following its recent introduction at The CalForth Construction Arena, the home of Dundee United Football Club. Groundsman Jamie Harle, who added the FL34 to his equipment lineup in April 2025, says the machine’s exceptional cut quality, striking striping capability, and intuitive operation through the InfiniApp™ are already exceeding expectations.
Jamie’s journey began as a matchday volunteer at the stadium, and since July last year, he’s been solely responsible for maintaining the pitch while also working toward completing his professional qualifications. “There’s been so much to learn, but I’m incredibly grateful to the club for backing me and investing in the tools we need to elevate the playing surface,” he said.
When the club’s previous cylinder mower neared the end of its life, Jamie began researching alternatives. “The INFINICUT® kept coming up in conversations with other grounds managers, so I arranged a demo through Mike Lindsay at Fairways GM — and I was blown away,” he explains.

“It really is a world-class piece of kit,” Jamie says. “The cut is incredibly clean, and the floating head produces a finish, colour, and stripe that are second to none. The InfiniApp is a fantastic feature too — I can quickly tweak the reel or walking speed to suit pitch conditions or adjust our approach in the build-up to matchdays.”

From the first demo, they’ve answered every question and provided advice that’s been vital as I continue developing both my skills and my industry network.”
Looking ahead, Jamie plans to use the FL34 daily during the main growing and playing seasons. “It’s been a pleasure to use so far, and I’m really excited to see what we can achieve once renovations are complete and we’re into full preparations for the new season.”
