Howardson Group has extended its reach across Scotland by expanding its partnership with groundcare dealer Thomas Sherriff & Co.
Thomas Sherriff has stocked Dennis mowers and SISIS equipment for more than 20 years. The enhanced agreement now allows the East Lothian-based dealer to supply both brands to customers in Midlothian, East Lothian, West Lothian and the Scottish Borders – completing its Dennis and SISIS coverage across its full territory, from North Yorkshire to the Forth Bridge.
The dealer’s portfolio spans the entire Dennis range, including the new ES-34SL lightweight battery mower from the Dennis E-Series, alongside the full SISIS maintenance equipment range. That combination allows end-to-end groundcare requirements across landscaping and sport to be met through a single dealer.
The move forms part of Howardson Group’s strategic growth plan, which aims to bring the company closer to its customers through improved local sales, servicing and after-sales support across the UK.
Two companies with long histories
Thomas Sherriff traces its roots to 1816, when its founder and namesake began making agricultural machinery. Today it is a leading dealer of agricultural and groundcare machinery in the region, operating across six sites in North East England and South East Scotland.
