These are the latest images from Wentworth’s iconic West Course, which is currently undergoing a major revamp.

“The most significant news at this time involves the bunker renovation, with 25 per cent of the bunkers removed across the course,” said Wentworth’s director of courses and grounds, Kenny Mackay (also pictured).

“On top of this, every bunker has been rebuilt, using a top of the range blinder layer which vastly improves the drainage. All of this, in addition to the softening of many bunkers, will drastically change the approach and strategy of the course.

“Progress on the West Course is picking up pace and there will be a number of developments in the pipeline.”
