Monty Miracle is returning to Saltex after securing US distribution at the 2023 show.

The exterior cleaning product made its debut at last year’s event and returns with a much larger presence, having set the wheels in motion to launch to consumers and tradespeople across the Atlantic in the coming months. This expansion is made possible thanks to a new partnership with US company AquaTerra.

The collaboration between Monty Miracle and Aqua Terra began at last year’s Saltex as the two companies were on adjacent stands. AquaTerra will serve as the distribution partner for Monty Miracle in the USA and Canada, with full training and management provided by the UK Monty Miracle team.

Peter Beaumont, director, said: “Saltex 2023 was a great success for us – as well as being recognised in the showcase, we had the pleasure of speaking to some of the best in the business, meaning we were able to build on our successful presence in the UK groundskeeping trade and secure international distribution.”

Monty Miracle, on stand CO66, is used by groundskeepers and professional gardeners across the UK as it is proven to eliminate black spot, algae, lichen and other organic stains on most external hard surfaces including stone, wood, plastic, concrete resin and coated metals.

Perfect for pathways, walls, seating, decking, fencing and steps, Monty Miracle completely neutralises following the cleaning process and is fully degradable so it can be hosed off safely – essential when a quick clean across a range of materials is needed.

The product was created by Martin Beaumont, who combined his experience of working with English Heritage and Shell to produce the perfect chemical cleaner: kinder to a wide range of surfaces, with better, longer lasting results.

Easier and quicker to use, it needs no aggressive jetwash or scrubbing, taking just 10 minutes to break down organic stains before rinsing with water.

Peter concludes: “Aggressive jetwashing can erode sealant and remove the surface layer of stone, leaving it exposed and vulnerable to further damage and decay – far from ideal in high traffic, exposed areas like sports grounds and courses which can have several steps and paths!

“Our alternative is proven to offer a simple, gentle, more effective solution that is so much quicker – and we have a range of five-star reviews and excellent online sales figures to prove it.

“We are really looking forward to this year’s Saltex, and meeting with fellow exhibitors, guests and delegates.”

KAR UK is thrilled to announce the launch of Hunter Industries’ innovative Wireless Valve Link at SALTEX 2024.

This cutting-edge system is set to revolutionise irrigation control, offering unmatched flexibility and efficiency for landscapes of all sizes.

The Wireless Valve Link product family eliminates some of the biggest contractor costs in irrigation installations: copper wire and unnecessary excavation to connect or repair distant valves. Like decoders, it replaces commodity wire with Hunter ingenuity and provides an efficient alternative to activating irrigation valves. Once connected, wireless signals are immune to issues that commonly afflict wired systems, such as wire degradation and lightning damage.

With the Wireless Valve Link, you can add up to 54 valves (+P/MV) up to 2,000′ line-of-sight (or more with a repeater) without the need for new valve wiring. Often described as a wireless decoder system, the Wireless Valve Link provides a flexible solution for complex landscapes. Now it’s possible to cross concrete pavements and asphalt driveways wirelessly, saving time and money during installation.

This convenient and innovative wireless valve technology simplifies installation for landscapes of all sizes by eliminating the need to run costly field wires or cut into hardscape.

Compatible with Hunter ICC2 and HCC Controllers, it seamlessly integrates with Hunter’s Centralus™ and Hydrawise® Software, providing convenient remote access and control over valves.

The Wireless Valve Link will be available in the UK starting early 2025, but visitors at SALTEX 2024 will have an exclusive opportunity to learn about the Wireless Valve Link at the KAR UK and Hunter Industries’ stand – E053. Their team of experts will be on hand to demonstrate the product’s capabilities and discuss how it can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your projects.

Kersten will be launching the brand-new Zasso ZAP Weeder, the future of eco-friendly weed management, exclusively at SALTEX 2024.

The ZAP Weeder is the world’s first battery-powered electric walk-in device, designed by Zasso. This innovative tool offers an unmatched blend of efficiency, safety, sustainability, and ease of use, making it a revolutionary addition to professional weed management.

You can be the first to experience this brand-new technology at SALTEX 2024, October 30th and 31st by visiting Kersten on stand G075.

Major Equipment, a leading innovator in professional tractor-powered groundcare mowers, is excited to launch its upgraded TDR Rotary Mower at SALTEX 2024.

Designed for the management of parklands, sports pitches and semi-rough golf course grass, this new model delivers enhanced durability, precision and efficiency in maintaining expansive green spaces.

The upgraded TDR stands out with several key improvements over its predecessor including:

Galvanised Body: The entire body of the Major TDR is now galvanized, offering superior resistance to rust and corrosion, ensuring longevity and reducing maintenance costs.

5mm Blades: The new model is equipped with 5mm blades, designed to deliver a cleaner, more precise cut. These robust blades enhance the mower’s ability to handle tougher grass and vegetation, resulting in a consistently professional finish, adding an aesthetic appeal to any public space.

Hydraulic brakes: Safety is paramount, and the inclusion of hydraulic brakes as standard ensures that operators have better handling and can operate the mower with increased confidence particularly when travelling between sites.

Heavy duty driveline: The gearbox drive line delivers consistent cutting rates, even in heavy and wet conditions, eliminating the belt slippages and inconsistent cutting associated with belt driven mowers.

Simple height adjustment: Operators can easily adjust the cutting height from 10-140mm, allowing for a wide range of applications and delivering the perfect cut every time.

The upgraded Major TDR is available in two working widths; 4.90m and 6.1m and is the ideal solution for local authorities responsible for maintaining parks, sports fields and other public spaces, as well as private contractors who require reliable, high-performance equipment for large-scale landscaping projects. The rear deck can be detached from the chassis and used independently. This feature allows for greater operational flexibility, making the TDR a multi-purpose tool for any grounds maintenance team.

Major Equipment will be showcasing the TDR at stand J112 at SALTEX 2024. Visitors to the stand can also see the Major CS-Pro, a 3m tractor-mounted mower ideal for smaller compact tractors and the MJ2000 Flail Collector, a versatile machine designed for cutting and collecting grass and perfect for areas with infrequent mowing cycles.

Dutch company SPIN Turf Machinery launches the ZZ-Topper machine.

The ZZ-Topper uses a new concept of verticutting the turf surface, without leaving lines behind. Curved pins make a fast-oscillating movement, and smoothly clean the sward of excessive organic material, without damaging the grass blades.

Ideal to be applied on hybrid and stitched pitches, as the surface is uniformly scratched, without the fibers being damaged.

First introduced in Saudi Arabia in 2023, the ZZ-Topper is now available in two working widths: 1.5m and 2.2m.

The ZZ-Topper will be exposed at the upcoming SALTEX exhibition.

Distributors are welcome to apply for all areas except Northern Ireland.

Hunter Grinders, part of the Howardson Group, is thrilled to announce its participation at SALTEX 2024, where it will be showcasing the enhanced Jupiter ATI ‘All-in-One’ Grinder.
