Origin Amenity Solutions (OAS) supplies products and solutions to turf management, amenity and landscaping professionals. The company comprises several market-leading brands including Headland, Rigby Taylor, Symbio and Turfkeeper.
This is a role for a commercially astute industry professional with in-depth knowledge of amenity seeds and turf products. It is a key position within the company with responsibility for the management of the seeds and turf portfolio. The successful post holder will need to develop, promote and maintain a market leading grass and flower seeds product range and technology concepts, as well as sourcing turf grades from accredited growers demonstrating a thorough understanding of the amenity seeds and turf market. You will have a proactive approach to understanding current legislation and upcoming legislative changes, market trends, new technologies, concepts and sustainable solutions.
This is a commercial role and you will work closely with the R&D department to proactively identify opportunities and gaps in the marketplace, develop new products or programme concepts with quantifiable performance that meets customer needs. You will assist the commercial director with sales forecasting, support the national field-based sales team with product knowledge, technical assistance and pricing and work closely with the marketing team to promote OAS product offerings and deliver training and sales presentations.
