Basfoliar Turf Complete SL is the latest sports turf fertiliser from nutrition specialist, Compo Expert, and has been formulated to provide a full complement of essential nutrients on a little and often basis. The liquid fertiliser has a 9-4-6 NPK content, is fortified with magnesium for improved sward colour and contains a range of EDTA chelated trace elements (copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc).
Designed specifically for use as a spring and summer fertiliser, Basfoliar Turf Complete SL contains two forms of nitrogen for efficient utilisation whilst using potassium in the sulphate form for low salt stress.
Basfoliar Turf Complete SL also contains five per cent Ascophyllum nodosum (seaweed) extract which adds beneficial bioactive substances (oligosaccharides, plant hormones and trace elements) to combat abiotic stresses caused by excessive wear and unfavourable weather conditions.
The addition of block co-polymer technology enables the liquid fertiliser to rapidly penetrate thick layers of hydrophobic thatch material to make nutrients immediately available within the rootzone.
“Basfoliar Turf Complete SL enables green keepers to apply exactly the right balance of nutrients at precise timings,” explains Jerry McHoul, Director of Compo Expert UK. “The ability to feed fine turf grasses on such a precise and timely basis ensures nutrients are assimilated as efficiently as possible and has the added advantage of ensuring that no granular residues, speckling or colouration differences (as a result of uneven application) affect the playing surface.”
Basfoliar Turf Complete SL is available in 20 litre containers and can be applied anywhere where a high quality turf is of paramount importance within a short space of time – for example, in the final run up to major tournaments and competitions.
