Mark Godfrey named as new CEO for STRI

Global sports facility consultant and sport industry research specialist STRI has appointed Mark Godfrey as its new chief executive officer. Mark previously held the position as Australasia managing director and prior to that group finance director. He joined the company in 2006.

During the past five years, STRI has reinforced its position as market leader and significant investments have been made including the development of a new office and research facility in Queensland, Australia and launch of design and research hubs in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. In 2015, STRI welcomed Melbourne based SportsTurf into the STRI Group and at the start of 2016, announced a strategic partnership with the Aspire Zone Foundation in Qatar to establish a centre of excellence for natural sportsturf research and development.
