Leicester City FC’s golf club renovates its bunkers

Durabunker recently won a very unique contract, working with former Premier League champions, Leicester City FC, at Park Hill Golf Club. The venue was acquired by Leicester City FC with the site being used to house new state of the art training facilities, the renovation of the outer nine holes of the golf course being an integral part of the club’s plans.

Having looked at several options it was decided that Durabunker synthetic bunker edging, and DuraLiner, one of several liners the company offers, would be the core components of the construction methodology for all bunkers at the venue. Durabunker also worked alongside the principle golf course contractor, Waterfield Solutions, during the initial stages of the project, enabling them to complete the remainder of the installation themselves.
