In 2009, Capillary Concrete founder Martin Sternberg invented the Capillary Material, the only building material in the world that can move water up by capillary action and also swiftly drain water with the help of gravity.

Capillary Material also enables the building of bases for sports fields and equestrian arenas that can control moisture 100 percent. The patented material ensures that these surfaces are not only sustainable, but are the safest for sportspersons and animals and are the most functional ever.
As part of this rebranding exercise, the company is also consolidating names. This means that the Capillary Concrete bunker liner is now part of the Capillary Bunker offering.
Capillary Concrete Bunker system offers golf courses complete moisture and drainage control to keep bunkers in perfect shape during any weather condition. The Capillary Concrete Bunker system doesn’t just rapidly drain excess rain from storms, it stores and restores moisture to the sand to provide more ideal playing conditions. This is done via special micropores in the Capillary Material base that leads to capillary migration through concrete. Capillary Bunkers have been installed in over 1,000 sites across the world.
