Husqvarna, a world leader in robotic mowing, introduces its newest edition for robotic turf care – the Automower® 535 AWD EPOS™.

Available from February 2025, the boundary wire-free successor to the Automower® 535 AWD will bring cutting-edge technology to commercial groundskeeping, with an all-wheel drive system that ensures unmatched performance on the most demanding surfaces. With capability to handle slopes of up to 70%, the Automower® 535 AWD EPOS™ has been designed to excel in rough, hilly and undulated terrain, delivering a perfect cut in even the most difficult-to-reach areas.

Designed to cover up to 6,000 square metres in 48 hours, the Automower® 535 AWD EPOS™ offers impressive efficiency for maintaining expansive areas, making it an ideal solution for where rough areas and surrounding landscapes require specialised attention. In addition, pattern cutting will be available in the second quarter of 2025, which will come as a software update over the air.

As with all EPOS™ navigated robotic mowers from Husqvarna, this model operates without a boundary wire, which makes installation robust and flexible. Greenkeepers and Grounds Teams will have the ability to programme wire free moving zones, making it easier to adapt to the specific needs of the site. For those who prefer traditional installations, the option to use boundary wires is also available.

Olle Markusson, Director of Product Management at Husqvarna said: “One of the key challenges of maintaining commercial spaces is keeping all areas well-managed. With Automower® 535 AWD EPOS™, we’ve created a solution that combines the latest in robotic technology with the power and flexibility needed for tough environments. Customers can trust this mower to handle rough terrain while ensuring a high-quality cut.”

Automower® 535 AWD EPOS™ will be available in the UK at RRP £5,199.00 (inc VAT) and will be available from February 2025.

Meanwhile, Husqvarna also unveils its latest innovation: a new platform of autonomous robotic lawnmowers designed for commercial use. The AI-ready platform includes two new robotic mowers launching in the UK – the Automower® 580L EPOS™ and Automower® 560 EPOS™, which are set to disrupt turf care in sports fields, golf courses and other commercial areas.

Designed with a focus on performance, power and efficiency, the duo offer advanced autonomous capabilities, including wire-free mowing and selectable cutting patterns. The two new mowers, which will be available from March 2025, will enable businesses to effortlessly maintain their turf care whilst saving time, cuttings costs and enhance turf quality.

The platform expands Husqvarna’s portfolio of autonomous solutions, aligning with its vision of advancing the future of landscaping through smart technology and ensuring that commercial users have access to state-of-the-art solutions that drive productivity and deliver superior results.

“The demand for reliable commercial autonomous turf care solutions continues to rise. With the new products we can now address more customer needs and develop a new market segment for commercial robotic lawn mowers, building on the success from Husqvarna CEORA™,” said Glen Instone, President Forest & Garden at Husqvarna.

Glen continues: “Husqvarna is taking this opportunity to redefine the segment, drawing on our unrivalled expertise in robotics and innovation to deliver cutting-edge solutions for professional landscapers. We’re ready to lead the charge.”

The new platform is engineered to be future-proof, with the capability to incorporate new features as they become available. After launch, it will offer benefits like compatibility with a new solar panel charger for remote sites, tailored to work seamlessly with the platform. Furthermore, it is AI-ready, with its first applications being a camera that provides night vision and exceptional obstacle avoidance capabilities. The camera application will be available in 2026 and will be compatible with the three new models.
