Turfco designs and builds equipment that increases productivity, saving work hours while reducing fuel costs when operating on fine turf surfaces. The CR-15 Material Handler is ideal when renovating bunkers as its large hopper (3.06 cu m) can carry prodigious amounts of sand and other materials, ensuring greater productivity. It can be used on a daily basis for everything from renovating bunkers and filling ditches to repairing washout areas.

The rear mounted cross conveyor, with 180-degree swivel, gives easy access to tight areas and allows the operator to evenly spread around material without moving the machine. The rear of the CR-15 raises up to six feet for transferring material into topdressers, turf vehicles and spreaders, while it’s low profile and light PSI facilitates the easy movement of large volumes of material on soft ground.

Dual-beam suspension provides lower centre of gravity for maximum stability and the self-cleaning hopper, constructed of galvanized steel, keeps a wide range of material flowing freely without the need for a costly hopper vibrator.

The CR15 also doubles up a large area topdresser, especially suited to fairway topdressing. The edge-to-edge spread capability offers a consistent application that’s pinpoint accurate, eliminating waste.

Miscalculating a spread by five feet off the fairways can add up to four hoppers loads or more. Therefore, the digital Smart Controller gives course managers the ability to calculate their preferred rates, then lock in those rates and widths into four saveable pre-sets. Operators can switch between presets on the fly for greater productivity. Areas needing heavier applications like landing zones can be handled with the push of a button. Switch from narrow to wide widths while maintaining the same rate.

Backed by a three-year warranty, the CR-15 is a multi-purpose machine, ideal for fairway maintenance, bunker renovation and drainage projects.
