Burden Bros Agri welcome Tom Kenny to the team!
Originally from Sussex, Tom started his working life as an assistant golf professional with an interest in golf course maintenance, having worked on his uncle’s course from the young age of 14. Since then, Tom has gained more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, both in retail and course management. His most recent role as a group course manager overseeing 16 golf courses for a charitable trust has given Tom a great understanding of working with different clients, whilst managing the agreed expectations.

Tom’s passion for turf machinery and customer service led him to join Burden Bros Agri. With his industry knowledge and previously being a customer of Burden Bros, Tom’s love for the John Deere brand made it an easy choice to join the company. “I have been exposed to other brands within the industry over the years, having used most, if not all, I felt I believed in the John Deere brand the most.”
As aftermarket business manager, Tom will be heading up the aftermarket area for turf, supporting current customers whilst gaining new business through growing the turf sector. He will also be making sure Burden Bros delivers the service expected by its customers: ‘We supply a premium product to our customers so let’s give them a premium service’.
